Cyclone and storm surge shelter
The cyclone and storm surge shelter, positioned at the rear of the Port Douglas State School, is available for hire as a multipurpose function centre. The facility consists of a large wooden-floored basketball and netball court with additional markings for badminton, indoor cricket, floor ball Futsal, and is perfect for concerts, musical events, meetings or conferences that fit up to 640 chairs.
